rewired ("we," "us") is a free program that helps you change a behavior over 66 days. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using rewired at startrewired.com, you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address and a password. Passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider — we never see your actual password.
- The things you write in the program: your arrival conditions, identity statement, commitment, daily check-ins, and any reflections you save. This is personal, and we treat it that way.
- Program and settings data: your start date, progress and streak, time zone, and reminder preferences.
- Basic technical data: standard information your browser sends, needed to operate and secure the site.
We do not collect payment information (rewired is free), we do not show advertising, and we do not sell your data.
How we use it
- To run the program for you — show the right day, track your streak, save your reflections.
- To send expected emails: account emails (such as confirming your address) and the daily reminder, if reminders are on.
- To keep the service working and secure.
Account and reminder emails are sent through our email provider. You can turn daily reminders off at any time on your account page. Account emails (like confirmation) are part of using the service.
Who else processes your data
We rely on a few trusted providers to run rewired: Supabase (stores your account and data), Vercel (hosts the site), and Resend (sends email). They process data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell or rent your information or share it for advertising.
How your data is protected
Your data is stored with access controls so you can only see your own information. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable measures to protect what you entrust to us.
Your choices and rights
- See or correct most of your information directly in the app.
- Turn off reminders on your account page anytime.
- Delete everything: you can delete your account from your account page. This permanently erases your reflections, logs, settings, and login, and cannot be undone.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your information while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your data; backups, where they exist, age out on a normal cycle.
Children
rewired is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and post the new version here.
